Use Your Shoulder Turn to Hit More Greens

From Mark Crossfield on YouTube

Instructor Mark Crossfield has a tip for controlling and syncing your shoulder turn to control your shots. More control equals more lower scores.

Controlling your shoulder turn in your golf swing might just help you hit a few better strikes.

Take the club in your lead hand and what I want you to do is just set up parallel to the ground along your feet line. And I want you to get this club over your right shoulder by making your left shoulder move down under the ball.

Feel the tilt that puts in your shoulders. Feel like your hips and shoulders working almost together even though they’re not turning the same amount. You’ll have to engage in both with one hand on.

If you’re someone who definitely struggles with this action where I was cover the ball with this shoulder, creating this kind of over the top action swinging to the left.

This is a great drill for getting you to feel your shoulders turning a little bit more on an incline. Try and get that kind of turning over right shoulder, lead shoulder goes under the ball and work that into a golf swing. You might just find you sought that low point strike out a little bit more. some better strikes are gonna result in more hit greens or lower scores.
